Also this year a special wine tour takes place again and we taste wines from a special vineyard of the Palatinate (Pfalz). We have selected the vineyard Manderschied from the Palatinate which manages his vineyards close to bath Bergzabern for you. In September, 2008 Martin Manderschied began with the conversion of the company to biological wine-growing and thus it will soon give to taste tasty biowine. The late Burgundian belongs to the speciality of the winegrower Martin whom were roofed for his wines with regional and national honourings and were taken up in known wine leaders.
We would like to invite you on a romantic level carriage journey pulled by the horse. On the comfortable journey over earthy vineyard ways own rest appears again which gets lost to us to all in the everyday life easily. Start is in low viper brook that lies between bath Bergzabern and the German wine gate in silence. The tour leads by the close border area of France.

A very special wine event held on 23 bis 24. to 24 Januar 2010 in Freinsheim in der Pfalz statt. Freinsheim held in January 2010 in the Palatinate. The season is opening up the wine festivals. The autumn period is reflected in the Palatinate with colorful landscapes. The first new wine can be tasted at the vineyard this year and it tastes wonderful. At the 24th Adventure day of the German Wine Road the 85 kilometers long tourist route remained closed to motorized traffic. The weather was wonderful, there was plenty of sunshine and was being tickled. Around 330 000 visitors was along the route, including the numerous cultural and culinary offerings. With the bike, or on foot were the wines and culture fans on the road. Along the wine route wine, sparkling wine and culinary specialties were offered from the region. The wine festival in the Pfalz are very famous in the world. The new wine festival calendar of German wine street is a circulation of 250,000 copies published. The German Wine door had this Spring his restaurant after a long renovation work officially open. With a grand ceremony celebrating the Winzergenossenschaft German Weintor with their members and employees, and next day also all good friends of cuisine and delicious wines of this event. The whole weekend was a hint of spring feeling over the Weintor in in the air. Culinary stood trial for the small and large good food, the chef Volker Krug and his team conjured up on the plates. Nat? Of course there was also ample opportunity for German wine to enjoy. In the wine cellar of Winzergenossenschaft was it posible to be tasted white wine, Rosé and red wine. The visitors had be possibility to test the Kitchen from this demanding restaurant of the heart and kidneys. A wine tour to the Wein-door in Scheigen is it alltimes worth!

Today it is finally here – the Spring! Even if we have after the long wintertime the spring cames, the days will be longer and more pleasant.
